Setting off for Morzine

Having done some research we decided to go to the Portes du Soleil to view some properties. Having contacted some of the websites we decided to go with Alpine Angels who had a good amount of property on their books although much of it was going fast. We decided to stay in Morzine and we would view property in Morzine, Les Gets and also Chatel where the prices tended to be a little lower than the other 2 resorts.

We decided to go for a long weekend in March 2004. However trying to find somewhere to stay in a ski resort at short notice proved a little difficult. Having rang around a number of places we eventually came across Chalet Symphony in Essert Romand which is right next to Morzine. The chalet owners were in their first season as chalet hosts and could squeeze us in to their lovely chalet. Alex and Robin were very hospitable and helped us to find our way around. Excellent food and service and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a chalet to stay in if they are planning a holiday in Morzine.
